As always a HUGE thank you to Penny at Packet Ranch for always providing us with the absolute most perfect pups <3

Not every dog chooses you. Some simply decide they've already found home.
Some dogs take weeks or even months to settle into a new home. Kix had other plans. The moment he stepped off the plane, he climbed straight into my lap—and from that day forward, he never really left my heart. That first moment perfectly captured who Kix is. He is the definition of an Australian Shepherd velcro dog, happiest when he's close to his people. If there's a lap available, he'll happily claim it. If you're moving around the house, chances are Kix isn't far behind. He simply loves being with those he loves.
His affectionate nature is matched only by his playful spirit. He's wonderfully silly, endlessly sweet, and gets along beautifully with everyone in the pack. Whether he's playing with his canine family or soaking up attention from visitors, Kix approaches every interaction with genuine kindness and enthusiasm. His greatest gift, however, isn't his striking red tri coat or his beautiful structure.
It's his heart. Kix doesn't just enjoy people—he truly connects with them. He has a remarkable way of making everyone feel like they're his favourite person, and it's one of the many reasons he's so loved by everyone who meets him.
As a sire, Kix consistently passes on the temperament we value so deeply at Coyote Creek. His puppies inherit his friendly, affectionate nature, his willingness to please, and that unmistakable ability to form deep bonds with their families. Because at the end of the day, Kix isn't simply a beautiful dog. He's the kind of dog who reminds us why we fell in love with Australian Shepherds in the first place. He's not just friendly. He's a true friend.
